The Focusrite ISA 828 MkII is an 8-channel mic preamp offering classic ISA sound with Lundahl transformers on each input. It features selectable mic/line inputs, instrument inputs on the first four channels, and variable input impedance, including the ISA 110 setting. With up to 60dB of gain and +20dB trim, it provides a total of 80dB gain range. Each channel has a high-pass filter, phase inversion, phantom power, and LED metering. The unit also includes insert points for external gear and optional digital expansion via the ISA ADN8 card. It's housed in a 2U rackmount chassis for reliable, efficient performance.
